The July 2022 revised board policy #COM-003 on "The Voicing of Opinions' (attempts) to correlate with the new Senate Bill, HB#2158, signed by Gov. Ducey on March 30, 2022. However, according to Mr. Legere who helped to write the bill at the AZ State Capital, the actual Senate bill 'trumps' any board policies. The policy was revised again in January 2023 to include infractions to Members using SCOV's facebook group page.

Another board policy became effective on July 7, 2022 which also touches on the free assembly of residents per HB#2158 and the rules for posting notices in our common areas and in SCOV's printed material in regard to those assemblies. It is #OPR-10, referencing ARS #33-1808M.
